Four influences feed every set I play: my Portuguese family, the French rap I grew up on through Cut Killer mixtapes and late-night radio, London open-format, and the R&B running underneath all of it.

Origin Story

One DJ. Four universes.

A live set built on the night. It shifts in real time as the floor fills and the crowd changes. No pre-mixed playlist, no algorithm, just me picking the next record based on what is in front of me.

A wedding and a club night rarely call for the same mix.

Afrobeats, hip-hop and R&B are the three I go deepest on, all built on the same old school backbone.

Afrobeats & Afro-Pop

The energy

Afrobeats is often the genre that fills the dance floor. Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Tems, plus a lot of less obvious records that never show up in the automated playlists.

The Lusophone edge

My Portuguese roots bring Lusophone Afro, kizomba and a few other influences you hear less often in London sets. I grew up hearing them at family parties.

02, Genre

Hip-Hop - Old School to New

The energy

Boom-bap is the foundation, and the set takes in UK drill when the crowd wants it. Raised in France on Cut Killer, NTM and the first wave of American hip-hop reaching Europe. I lived that music and still play it with the same hunger.

The French rap angle

French hip-hop is still underrepresented in London sets. It is a natural part of mine, from NTM and IAM through Booba, Rohff and newer generations.

03, Genre

R&B - Slow Jams to Modern RnB

The energy

R&B was my first way into DJing. On the night it does the warm-up and the reset: slower drums, big vocals, and a chorus the whole crowd knows.

Mostly questions about balance: how far a set can lean one way, and which mix suits which event.

Can the set lean more afrobeats, more hip-hop, or more R&B?

Yes. Each booking is briefed in advance, so the set can sit at 70% afrobeats with hip-hop accents, run as a full hip-hop night with an R&B warm-up, or stay open-format. Whatever the crowd actually needs.

Can I include French rap, UK drill or grime?

Yes. French rap (NTM, IAM, Booba, Rohff, Ninho) and UK hip-hop, drill and grime (Stormzy, Skepta, Dave, Headie One) sit right at the centre of my hip-hop sets and can carry one on their own.

Is this suitable for weddings, corporate events and private parties?

Yes, especially for mixed-age rooms. The set tends to open on R&B, build through afrobeats and peak with hip-hop, all adapted live to the crowd in front of the booth.

Do you take requests?

Yes. Send a short must-play list before the event and I'll work it in. The final flow still gets adapted live to the crowd, the timing and the energy on the floor.

Might start with smooth R&B, move through afrobeats as the floor fills, and close with hip-hop anthems.

Might open with Lusophone Afro, build through UK urban, and peak with afrobeats at the top of the hour.
