For Deejay Tin'Ok, R&B was the first real doorway into DJing. The records had space. The vocals had emotion. The drums were smooth but heavy. A Groove Theory hook could warm up a room. An Aaliyah groove could change its whole energy.
Long before "stems" became a software feature, the magic was already happening by hand: cutting basslines with the EQ, lifting vocals, teasing instrumentals, riding two vinyl records together and creating live mashups that felt impossible for a second — but landed perfectly when the crowd caught it.
